Media Update | Meeting with the Belgian Special Envoy for the Middle East and North Africa

As part of its ongoing engagement with international partners, the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG) held a meeting today with Mr. Johan Verkammen, Belgium’s Special Envoy for the Middle East and North Africa, in the presence of Dr. Bart De Groof, Ambassador of Belgium to Egypt, and Ms. Anick Van Calster, Consul General in Jerusalem.

The meeting focused on ways to support efforts aimed at promoting stability in Gaza, enhancing humanitarian assistance, and advancing pathways for effective Palestinian governance in the Strip.

During the discussion, NCAG outlined its key priorities and ongoing planning efforts, including preparations for the commencement of its operations on the ground, with a focus on humanitarian response, restoration of essential services, and strengthening the foundations for stability.

Both sides underscored the importance of continued coordination with international partners to support efforts that improve living conditions in Gaza.
