Dr. Jabr Ibrahim El-Daour

Dr. Jabr Ibrahim El-Daour (Commissioner of Education - NCAG) is an academic and educational leader from the Gaza Strip with extensive experience in university governance, financial and administrative management, and applied research in accounting and management. He served as President of Palestine University in Gaza City from 2020-2026 and is a professor specializing in management accounting. He previously held senior executive and academic positions at Al-Azhar University - Gaza, most notably Vice President for Financial and Administrative Affairs, in addition to academic leadership roles within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. His institutional career also includes leadership and professional roles related to the accounting and auditing profession, as well as membership in university governance bodies and councils. He holds a PhD in Management Accounting from the University of Manchester (MBS) and is known for a pragmatic approach that emphasizes strengthening academic administration, enhancing discipline and financial governance, and ensuring the continuity and quality of educational services in complex environments.
