Hanaa Hanna Nicola Tarazi (Social Protection Commissioner, NCAG) is a Palestinian lawyer from Gaza City with a technocratic legal background spanning civil, Sharia, and military justice. She holds an LL.B from Al-Azhar University in Gaza, is licensed as a civil attorney with the Palestinian Bar Association (2013) and as a Sharia attorney with the High Judicial Council (2018), and completed a Professional Diploma in Military Judiciary (2020), alongside first-class certification as an arbitrator in civil and sports disputes from the Ministry of Justice (2020). She is the founder of a private law and legal consultancy office, providing legal advice and representation before civil, Sharia, and military courts, with additional expertise in family mediation, dispute resolution, and mentoring trainee lawyers. Beyond her practice, she has contributed to national and humanitarian initiatives, delivered legal awareness workshops in underserved areas, and supported emergency legal assistance efforts following the 2014 war. She also serves in several professional and civic roles, including Vice Chairwoman of the Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights and a board member and sports-court judge within the National Sports Arbitration Authority, and was recognized by the ICRC in 2020 among four leading Palestinian women.
